Ticket to the Palace of Versailles with Audioguide APP

About the Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles is one of the most representative symbols of French absolutist monarchy. Converted into a royal residence by Louis XIV in the 17th century, it was the center of political and cultural power in France for over a century. Its architecture and decoration reflect the splendor of an era marked by art, opulence, and the monarch’s control over the nobility.

What to see during the visit

During the visit, you can explore the lavish King’s Apartments, the famous Hall of Mirrors, and various rooms decorated with masterpieces of Baroque art. Highlights include works by artists such as Charles Le Brun and Hyacinthe Rigaud. In addition, the gardens designed by André Le Nôtre offer a unique display of fountains, sculptures, and perfectly symmetrical perspectives.

«The architecture is frozen music.» — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
