Guided Tour of the Palace of Versailles with Ticket

About the Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles is one of France’s great landmarks and a masterpiece of Baroque art. Converted into a royal residence by Louis XIV in the 17th century, it symbolizes the absolute power of the monarchy. For decades, it was the political and cultural center of the country, reflecting the luxury, sophistication, and control exercised by the crown over the French nobility.

What to see during the visit

The guided tour allows you to explore the palace’s most iconic rooms, such as the majestic Hall of Mirrors, the Royal Apartments, and salons decorated with works by artists like Charles Le Brun. You can also admire the gardens designed by André Le Nôtre, a perfect example of harmony and symmetry, with fountains, sculptures, and avenues that complete a unique experience.

«Everything in Versailles spoke of grandeur, but also of fragility.» — Victor Hugo
